Conventional oil changes are best for budget-minded maintenance, however will need to be changed every 3000-5000 miles and we suggest even more frequent in hotter weather, if the vehicle has been used for towing, or has been used for frequent short trips in which sludge can build up. Ask your tech about upgrading to full synthetic to lengthen the span in which oil changes are needed and also protect the inner components of your engine. Be aware that some vehicles may require synthetic oil, which will be stated in the owners manual and in various places on the vehicle. A vehicle inspection will be performed to detect the possibility of leaks, abnormalities and of belts, hoses, tires, battery, windshield wipers, air filter, and other components of the vehicle. You will be informed of abnormalities found and can possibly be changed at an extra charge. There is a charge of $7.00 per quart of oil beyond the 5 quarts provided in this service. Fluids to be checked and topped off are brake fluid, windshield wiper fluid, coolant and blinker fluid.
